한림대학교 글로벌교류센터에서 안내하여 드립니다.

우리 대학교 학생생활관 창고에는 외국인 유학생들이 코로나19 팬데믹 당시 본국으로 귀국하면서 일시적으로 보관을 요청한 개인 물품들이 여전히 보관되어 있습니다. 2020년 해당 물품들을 맡겨두고 휴학한 유학생들이 2025년 현재까지 미복학 또는 자퇴를 선택하면서 학교로 돌아오지 않아 수년째 같은 장소에 보관 되어있는 상태입니다. 

휴학 후 3년간 복학하지 않는 경우 제적으로 처리하는 한림대학교의 학칙에도 불구하고 학생들이 남겨둔 짐을 보관한 지는 5년이 경과하였기에, 아직 남아있는 물품들에 대해서는 학생들이 더 이상 필요로 하지 않는 것으로 간주하고, 학내 모든 학생들이 사용하는 학생생활관의 환경 개선을 위하여 2025년 1학기 종료 이후에는 해당 물품들에 대한 폐기 절차를 진행할 예정임을 안내하여 드립니다. 

물품을 보관한 학생들 중 대다수가 한국에 남아있지 않은 상황으로 직접 학교를 방문하기 어렵다면 한국에 체류 중인 친구나 지인을 통해 2025년 4월25일부터 6월24일까지 반드시 본인의 물품을 수령하여 주시기 바랍니다. 

*국제우편서비스는 제공하지 않으며, 반드시 본인 또는 지인을 통한 직접 수령만 가능합니다.

*2025년 7월부터는 해당 물품의 회수가 불가하며 손실 부분에 대해서는 본인에게 책임이 있다는 점을 양지하시고, 위 기간 중 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 5시 사이로 시간을 정하여 iao@hallym.ac.kr로 방문 계획을 미리 알려주시기 바랍니다.

[Official Notice from the Global Engagement Center, Hallym University]

Dear Students,

This is an official announcement from the Global Engagement Center at Hallym University.

We would like to inform you that a number of personal belongings were left in the student dormitories by international students who temporarily returned to their home countries during the COVID-19 pandemic. These items have been stored in the dormitory storage since 2020, as the students who left them haven’t returned and have officially withdrawn from the university as of 2025. 

Although Hallym University regulations state that students who do not return within 3 years of taking a leave of absence will be automatically deregistered, the above mentioned personal items have been retained for over 5 years. As part of our efforts to improve the shared dormitory environment, please be informed that all remaining unclaimed belongings will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of after the end of the Spring 2025 semester.

For those who are no longer residing in Korea and are unable to visit the campus in person, we kindly ask that you arrange for a friend or acquaintance currently staying in Korea to collect your belongings on your behalf during the designated period (April 25 to June 24, 2025). 

* As international shipping services are unavailable, all items must be collected in person, either by the students themselves or by their friends.

* Please note that after July 2025, any remaining unclaimed items will be permanently discarded, and the university will not be responsible for any loss or disposal. The dormitory storage is accessible on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. We recommended contacting us in advance at iao@hallym.ac.kr before visiting.

亲爱的留学生们：

我校学生生活馆仓库目前仍保管着部分留学生于新冠肺炎时期离境前寄存的个人物品。

自2020年起，部分留学生因疫情离境前，将个人物品寄存在我校学生生活馆仓库。此后，相关学生未办理复学手续或已正式退学，截至2025年仍未返校领取。

根据翰林大学相关规定，学生休学满三年未复学者将被视为自动退学。尽管如此，学生生活馆仍已为上述物品提供超过五年的保管时间。

现为改善学生生活馆整体使用环境，提升管理效率，校方将于2025年第一学期结束后（即6月末）对尚未认领的物品进行统一处理，视为学生自愿放弃所有权，届时将不再予以保留。

大多数物品所有者目前不在韩国，若本人无法亲自领取，请务必委托仍在韩国的朋友或熟人代为领取。

*学校不提供邮寄服务，所有物品需由本人或代领人亲自到场领取。

*自2025年7月起，所有未领取物品将不再保留，若因此产生任何损失，责任由本人承担，敬请理解与配合。
